The Homelessness Act (2002) places a statutory
duty on all Local Authorities to carry out a review of homelessness
and to develop a new Homelessness Strategy every five years. This
new Strategy fulfils this duty and sets out how the Council will
proactively prevent homelessness and provide support to people who
are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless.
