Tourism and Heritage (The Castle) Minutes: It was decided to take this item to the next Aspire and Prosper Committee on 11 April 2017 as the Committee are waiting a report |

Town Centre Parking Minutes: A proposal was received by the Committee from Councillor P Standen with regards for the consideration for a trial period of free car parking in Council operated Town Centre Car Parks after 3 pm on Fridays (free after three) as a positive response to issues raised by Members of the public in feedback for the State of Tamworth Debate and t assist in boosting the Town Centre’s day time economy.
Councillor D Cook Leader of the Council presented evidence regarding revenue from parking. This resulted in a discussion prompted by some questions and although no support for Councillor Standen’s motion was presented the topic would be left on the Agenda. |
