Apologies for absence were received from Councillor B Price and Councillor L Wood attended as a substitute.

Councillor J Wadrup declared an interest as Ward Councillor for Glascote.  Councillor Wadrup confirmed she had not been involved in any conversations or correspondence with any ward constituents or the applicant on the matter being considered .

Resolved

That the committee

 

 

 

Agreed to grant a new premises licence in respect of Engine Lane Stores, 26 Engine Lane, Glascote, Tamworth, B77 2DH in its entirety subject to the opening hours being 06:00 – 23:00 hrs with the licensable activity of the sale of alcohol being 07:00 – 22:00 hrs with no extension for Bank Holidays.

The site plan of the business was amended to reflect that spirits will be sited behind the counter.
