We as a Council reconfirm our commitment to the intentions of the motion 26th November 2014 that we put the vulnerable in our Society as a key priority for Tamworth Borough Council.

Task Officers urgently to do a deep dive into the evidence carried by ourselves and our partners to establish an evidence base of the real issues affecting residents of Tamworth in these uncertain times.

Task a cross party working group from Corporate Scrutiny to analyse the evidence of the real issues affecting residents of Tamworth in these uncertain times and make recommendations back to full council on a vision that meets the current needs of the residents of Tamworth during this dire time of crisis.

Councillor D Cook withdrew the motion
Councillor J Oates moved an amendment that there is a whole Council seminar discussion to analyse the evidence of the real issues affecting residents of Tamworth and a cross party working group is set up to allow all members to be part of that discussion.

Councillor M Cook moved the following motion
A full review of the Market Strategy in partnership with our contractor.

Councillor J Oates asked for clarity from the Chief Executive on the timeline.
Councillor Cook asked to amend the motion to add that when the Review is undertaken can it come back to full Council rather than Cabinet
The Chief Executive clarified that Corporate Scrutiny had asked for the work to be done and it would then go back to Corporate Scrutiny to complete the work.
The original motion that a full review of the Market Strategy in partnership with our contractor is undertaken was voted on.

Councillor Claymore moved the following motion
That the Council carry out a public consultation to seek the thoughts of the public future fireworks displays and what alternatives are available.

There were 7 votes for and 15 against therefore this motion was not carried.

To pass on the appreciation to officers for everything they do for us on a daily basis.
