Update on penalty points awarded to Licensed Drivers

(Verbal Update from the Chair)

Minutes:

Verbal update from S Gear, Licensing Officer

 

Since April issued 48 points to 11 separate drivers

2 fixed penalty notices for smoking in the cab.

 

The Licensing Officer confirmed that the points stay on drivers records for 3 years.

Recommended to Cabinet that they consider the draft Scrap Metal Policy 2024 – 2028 as suitable for adoption, subject to  amendments made following the comments received
