Minutes:

Councillor K Norchi declared a personal interest in item 19 of the Minutes and did not take part in the matter and left the room.

Committee Report for The Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 Suitability of Person to Continue to Hold a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Drivers Licence

Report of the Chief Operating Officer

Minutes:

Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976, Town Police Clauses Act 1847, Private Hire and Hackney Carriage Driver Licenses – The Report of the Chief Operating Officer was considered.

 

RESOLVED:

That Members agreed to

 

1)

issue a written warning to the licence holder as to future conduct, to remain valid for 12 months. Any conviction reported to the Council whilst the written warning is current could result in further action being taken by the committee.

Committee Report for The Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 Suitability of Person to Continue to Hold a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Drivers Licence

Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976, Town Police Clauses Act 1847, Private Hire and Hackney Carriage Driver Licenses – The Report of the Chief Operating Officer was considered.

 

RESOLVED:

That members agreed to

 

1)

Issue a written warning to the licence holder as to future conduct, to remain valid for 12 months. Any conviction reported to the Council whilst the written warning is current could result in further action being taken by the committee.
