Purpose:
The Budget and Medium Term Financial Strategy
report approved by Council on 27 February 2024 committed the
Council to preparing a Sustainability Strategy to identify a range
of measures with an aim to becoming financially sustainable over
the medium term.
The 2024/25 Local Government Funding Settlement required local
authorities to prepare a Productivity Plan which should be approved
and published by July 24.
This report will address both of these items.
