Minutes:

The Corporate Director of Growth, Assets and Environment informed Members about the Team’s enforcement and administration work this financial year 16 - 17 and for future work to be endorsed.

 

RESOLVED:

That Members noted the content of the report and endorsed future work for 2017-18. Thanks was conveyed to the whole team and officers for giving up time to assist

Application For An Increase To Prescribed Hackney Carriage Fare Rates pdf icon PDF 211 KB

Minutes:

The Corporate Director of Growth, Assets and Environment requested Members to consider an application from Tamworth Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Association for an increase in the prescribed Hackney Carriage fare rate.

 

RESOLVED:

That Members agreed that

1

the Hackney Carriage fare rates be advertised so as to give Notice of the intention to increase hackney carriage fares to that shown; and

 

2

if no objections are received the Director of Growth, Assets and Environment be authorised to bring the new structure into force after 1st December 2017 on a day deemed suitable to re-calibrate all taxi-meters, however in the event of objections being received within 14 days from the publication of the advertisement a further report be made to the next scheduled Licensing Committee to determine the proposal in light of the objections.
